BLM – Malta Resource Management Plan

Claire Trent from the Malta Field Office will give a short overview of what and why

BLM is developing a Resource Management Plan (RMP). Since this plan will

address management of public lands from Glacier to Valley County, we would

like your input on how the BLM can better work together w/ your agency to

address invasive species.

Russian Olive/Salt Cedar Management in 2007 There seem to be quite a few

projects on the Milk, Marias, and Missouri Rivers coming up this summer

addressing the management of Russian olive and salt cedar. This can be a

round robin discussion on the various projects including what treatment

methods would be used, which herbicides are the best for this type of work, and

opportunities for folks to help each other out.
