MS Access 2007 Trusted Locations

1. In MS Access 2007 click the Microsoft Office Button in the upper left-hand corner.

2.  Click Access Options

3.  Click Trust Center

4.  Click Trust Center Settings

5.  The database has unsigned macros that you CAN trust; you can place the database into a trusted location. Documents in trusted locations are allowed to run their macros without being checked by the Trust Center security system (which is what is causing the problem):
  • Click on Add new location

  • Browse for the folder that contains the database

  • Select

  • Click OK

6.   Finally save the database as a 2007 version (file extension is .accdb) into your trusted location:
  • Click the Microsoft Office Button

  • Click Save As

  • Select  Access 2007 Database

  • Select the folder you defined as a trusted location

  • click Save
